Volunteer of the year
The Georgia Recreation and Parks Association has named the Morgan County Recreation Department the Agency of the Year for 2007. This is the 4th time in 6 years that we have had this honor. To qualify agencies must submit an application outlining many facets of the department, including programs and athletics offered, quality of these programs, and number of citizens served. The applications are judged by a panel of Recreation professionals from all over the state.
